Kate's been growing her hair for over a year now. She decided a while ago she was going to grow it long enough so she could donate a pony-tail to make a wig for someone with cancer. Yesterday was the big day - she got it cut - she's sending the hair to "Pantene Beautiful Lengths" who will use it to make a free wig to be distributed by the American Cancer Society. Way to go Kate!!
